Welcome to the Duluth First United Methodist Church web site. Here you will find
information about the church, our ministries, staff, schedules for worship, and
many other interesting pieces of information about this congregation. Duluth First United Methodist Church is a church in mission at home and around the world. We started over 130 years ago with a few families in a small home that still stands in Duluth, Georgia. From that modest beginning we have become a congregation of 2,860 with an average worship attendance of about 1,011. When people join the congregation we ask them to use their gifts in service to God’s kingdom, believing that as we bless others we are blessed also. As you learn more about the church from the web site, I hope that you will decide to visit. We have worship every Sunday morning with three traditional worship services at 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary, and one contemporary service at 9:30 a.m. in the Grand Hall of the Family Life Center. Sunday school is for all ages at 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. Wednesday suppers are served every week mid-August through mid-May from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Family Life Center.
