Men’s Ministry 2717 Dinner/Meeting:  July 22

27:17, a monthly ecumenical men's fellowship and dinner open to all men of all ages, is based on Proverbs 27:17 - "Iron sharpens iron as one man sharpens another". Its purpose is to bring men together from all walks of life so that they may sharpen each other against the difficulties and temptations faced in the world. Each month we will come together for great food, clean jokes, testimonials from other men, and to make new friendships. This group, dedicated to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, is based on the idea that Christian men need support in their walk with God. Hopefully, we will all leave each month's meeting sharpened by the presence of other Godly men.

The next 27:17 dinner and meeting is Tuesday, July 22, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Wally's Party Shack, located at 3108 Duluth Hwy. 120 (just down the street from the church). Guest speaker Jim Douglas will wrap up our small group discussions with some practical things we can do surrounding joining a small group or enhancing one we're already in. Dinner will be steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. Please throw at least $10 in the hat during the meal to cover expenses
