Friendly, Outgoing, Caring , Loving...in Ministry to one another and the Community
The Adults 55+ Fellowship at Duluth First United Methodist Church is an active and fun-spirited group of senior adults, ages 55+! The group meets the second Tuesday of every month for planning, programs, and a great meal. There is a different program each month with new speakers and entertainment. Free blood pressure tests are offered every month. The senior adults of our congregation have many gifts and talents to offer to the church and the surrounding community. They are active and encouraged to participate in all aspects of the various ministries of the church. They are a vital part of the ministry of the church and are truly an asset to the surrounding community. The senior adults take monthly trips. These trips vary each month and range from day trips to extended stay trips. Several past trips include: a 3 day trip to Myrtle Beach, peach-picking in North Georgia and a train ride in Blue Ridge, GA. For more information, contact Tavye Morgan at 770-476-3776, ext. 39, or by email at tmorgan@duluthumc.org.
