T.L.C (Together Learning about Christ) is a new children’s education ministry whose purpose is to bring families together for a fun and exciting learning and worship time that is full of the WORD! Building a deeper relationship with Christ through singing songs of praise, listening and acting out Bible stories, sharing prayers/prayer concerns and journaling about this learning and worship experience are the goals of T.L.C. Monthly Mission Projects will also be an important component of T.L.C. where children will learn to serve others. Weekly worship time will focus on a Bible scripture. Need a little T.L.C.? Then look no further. Come join us on Wednesday evening from 5:45 to 6:25 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The focus of T.L.C. is ages Kindergarten to the fifth grade, and ALL ages are welcome to join us in coming together as DFUMC family. Parent(s) are asked and encouraged to come and stay with their child during this time of worship. Praising God as a family together is part of the T.L.C. concept. For more information about T.L.C (Together Learning about Christ) contact Leslie Yokeley, Director of Children's Ministries, at 770-476-3776, ext. 38, or by clicking on Leslie Yokeley.
