Recreation Ministry is the ministry of athletics and activities at Duluth First United Methodist Church. Recreational activities that encourage fellowship, study and prayer are our goal. From basketball to aerobics to walking, we offer activities that will fit your needs with activities being added as we grow in ministry. Recreation Ministry desires to lead people deeper in their Christian journey agreeing with 1 Timothy 4:8, “physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things."

Duluth First United Methodist Church Recreation Ministry is very excited about all of the opportunities for recreation that are offered through our program. However, we are more excited that you will have the chance to come and join with us in the many activities that happen here.

A few highlights of current offerings:

Men's Basketball: The Grand Hall is open on Sunday evenings from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for adult men to come and join other men in our church, as well as men from the community, in playing pick up basketball. Providing men the opportunity to exercise and get to know one another is imperative in having a vibrant recreation ministry, so Duluth First United Methodist Church is developing this time of fellowship and basketball to offer the men of Duluth a time to come together.
